Product Overview

The E-PH Excavator Hydraulic Broom Sweeper is a professional-grade road and site cleaning attachment that connects directly to the excavator's hydraulic circuit, transforming a standard excavator or backhoe loader into a high-capacity sweeping machine capable of clearing construction debris, loose aggregate, mud, sand, leaves, and general site waste from road surfaces, hardstand areas, warehouse floors, airport aprons, and any paved or compacted surface requiring efficient mechanical cleaning. Available in five width configurations from 1,000 mm to 2,700 mm and suitable for excavators ranging from 2 tonnes to 14 tonnes, the E-PH series provides a versatile and cost-effective sweeping solution for civil contractors, road maintenance crews, site managers, and municipal works operators who need professional sweeping capability integrated into their existing excavator fleet — without the capital cost, operating cost, and logistical complexity of a dedicated road sweeper vehicle.

The E-PH broom sweeper is powered by two independent hydraulic motors driving the broom roller simultaneously — a dual-motor configuration that delivers significantly higher and more consistent rotational torque than single-motor alternatives across the full working width of the brush, particularly under the high-resistance conditions encountered when sweeping heavy debris loads, wet material, or compacted surface contamination. The dual-motor drive ensures that the broom roller maintains consistent brush speed and sweeping force across the entire width of the attachment without the speed drop, torque loss, and uneven sweep pattern that characterise single-motor designs when operating under load — resulting in a cleaner, more uniform sweep finish in a single pass and reducing the number of repeat passes required to achieve the required surface cleanliness standard on road maintenance and site preparation projects.

Two practical design features of the E-PH significantly reduce setup time and ongoing maintenance burden compared to competing broom sweeper attachments. Integrated support legs are built into the attachment frame and are always deployed and ready for use — allowing the broom to be set down on any surface without tipping, without requiring the operator to exit the cab to position support stands, and without the risk of brush damage from uncontrolled contact with the ground during attachment and detachment. The brush elements are designed for rapid replacement without specialist tools or extended downtime — a critical maintenance advantage on busy sites where sweeping operations must resume quickly after brush wear, and where the cost of replacement brushes and the time required to fit them directly impacts the overall cost of sweeping operations across the project duration.

Five standard width configurations address the full range of sweeping requirements encountered on civil construction, road maintenance, and site management projects. The ME-PH100 (1,000 mm wide, 22 brushes, 190 kg) suits 2–2.5 tonne compact excavators for narrow path, footway, and confined area sweeping. The E-PH150 (1,500 mm wide, 33 brushes, 235 kg) and E-PH180 (1,800 mm wide, 40 brushes, 260 kg) serve 4–8 tonne mid-size excavators for general road and site sweeping applications. The E-PH220 (2,200 mm wide, 49 brushes, 290 kg) and E-PH270 (2,700 mm wide, 60 brushes, 330 kg) serve 10–14 tonne excavators for high-productivity sweeping of wide road surfaces, large hardstand areas, and airport or port apron cleaning where maximum sweep width per pass is the primary productivity driver. All models operate at 16 MPa hydraulic pressure with a flow requirement of 60 litres per minute, compatible with the standard auxiliary hydraulic circuits of excavators and backhoe loaders in the specified weight classes.

The E-PH Excavator Hydraulic Broom Sweeper is suited to road construction and maintenance, civil site preparation and cleanup, post-demolition debris clearing, municipal street and footpath sweeping, warehouse and hardstand floor cleaning, airport apron maintenance, and any application requiring efficient mechanical sweeping of paved or compacted surfaces using plant already available on site. A bolt-on bracket hitch is available upon request for operators requiring a specific bracket interface configuration for their excavator or backhoe loader. Select the correct width model for your excavator's operating weight and sweeping area requirements using the specification table below, or contact our team for hydraulic compatibility confirmation, brush specification advice, volume pricing, and lead time information for your project.
