The EALITA Forklift Fork Extension Slippers are a comprehensive range of high-tensile steel fork extenders engineered to extend the reach and load-handling versatility of standard forklift tines across warehouses, construction sites, timber yards, steel fabrication facilities, logistics centers, and heavy industrial operations. Available in four safe working load ratings — 2,500 kg, 3,000 kg, 5,000 kg, and 8,000 kg — and five standard lengths from 1,600 mm to 3,000 mm, this fork extension range covers the full spectrum of light to heavy industrial forklift applications, allowing operators to select the precise combination of load capacity and reach extension required for their specific operational needs.

The slim-profile channel design is a defining structural advantage of these fork extensions. By maintaining a low-profile cross-section relative to the load-bearing capacity, the slippers minimize the reduction in operator sightlines during use, improve clearance when entering racking systems and storage bays, and reduce the overall weight added to the forklift carriage compared to bulkier fork extension designs. This slim-profile geometry is particularly valuable in high-density warehouse environments where racking clearances are tight and precise fork positioning is critical for safe pallet placement and retrieval.

Manufactured from high-tensile grade steel with a 5mm main plate thickness on the 2,500 kg and 3,000 kg models and a 6mm plate on the 5,000 kg model, rising to 8mm on the heavy-duty 8,000 kg configuration, these fork extensions deliver exceptional rigidity and resistance to bending under maximum rated load. The progressive plate thickness across the SWL range ensures that each model is structurally optimized for its rated capacity — providing the minimum necessary weight while maintaining full structural integrity throughout the working load range.

Every fork extension slipper is supplied with locking pins as standard, securing the extension firmly to the host forklift tine during operation and preventing accidental disengagement under dynamic load conditions. The locking pin system provides a positive mechanical interlock that keeps the extension aligned with the tine throughout lifting, travel, and placement cycles — a critical safety feature that eliminates the risk of extension slippage that can occur with friction-fit or unsecured fork extension designs in high-cycle industrial environments.

Designed and manufactured in full compliance with AS2359.15 — the Australian Standard governing the design, manufacture, and use of forklift attachments and fork extensions — these slippers meet the industry's most rigorous structural and safety requirements. In accordance with AS2359.15, fork extensions used for general applications should not exceed 167% of the supporting tine length; extensions longer than 167% of the host tine are rated for specified applications only. This compliance framework ensures that every EALITA fork extension slipper is engineered to perform safely within its rated parameters across the full range of approved operational conditions.

Available in both galvanized and painted finish options to suit different environmental and operational requirements, these fork extensions are built for long-term performance in demanding conditions.
