This heavy duty skid steer pole setter attachment is engineered for operators who need to pick up, transport, and set large utility poles, power poles, and heavy fence posts — directly from the ground or off a trailer — without leaving the cab. With a safe working load of 610 kg (1,345 lb) and the ability to handle poles up to 45 feet long, this hydraulic utility pole setter attachment is built for the most demanding commercial and municipal installation jobs.

The attachment features two independent jaws that open and close in sequence, keeping the pole locked and stable throughout every phase of the lift, rotate, and placement cycle. Clamping force is delivered by two 3-inch × 6-inch hydraulic cylinders, and the double cylinder rotating base allows the operator to swing the pole from horizontal to vertical with precision and control. Rubber lining on each jaw protects the pole surface from damage during clamping, while the integrated backing plate holds the pole above the skid steer during transport to minimize swing and movement. The entire structure is fabricated from ½-inch Grade 80 or higher steel for maximum durability under continuous heavy-use conditions.

The attachment mounts to any skid steer loader via a universal quick-attach plate and comes complete with flush-faced couplers, a spring hose mount, and a wiring harness — ready to work straight out of the box. With an opening range of 125–520 mm, an operating pressure of 16 MPa, and a hydraulic flow requirement of 60 LPM, the S-HDPS610(125-520)-MP1140 integrates seamlessly with most standard skid steer hydraulic systems.
