Product Overview
This skid steer pole setter attachment is purpose-built for operators who need to install or remove light poles, fence posts, solar panel supports, and utility poles quickly and safely — all from the control cab of the skid steer loader. Capable of handling poles up to 32 feet long and weighing up to 540 kg (1,190 lb), this hydraulic pole setter attachment eliminates the need for additional ground crew and dramatically reduces job-site setup time.
The double cylinder rotating pole setter features two independent jaws that open and close in sequence, ensuring the pole remains secure throughout the entire lift and placement cycle. Each jaw is mounted with rubber lining to protect the pole surface from damage during clamping. The opening range of 75–355 mm accommodates a wide variety of pole diameters, and optional inserts allow the jaws to close down to zero for smaller stock. Available with either a rotating base or a fixed non-rotating base to suit different job-site requirements.
The attachment mounts to any skid steer loader via a universal quick-attach plate for fast, tool-free installation. It comes complete with a wiring harness, spring hose mount, and flush-faced couplers, so it is ready to work straight out of the box. Operating at 16 MPa with a hydraulic flow requirement of 60 LPM, the S-PS540(75-355)-MP1140 integrates seamlessly with most standard skid steer hydraulic systems.
