This heavy-duty truck and bus tyre storage cage is purpose-engineered for the efficient storage, handling, and order picking of large commercial vehicle tyres — including truck tyres, bus tyres, OTR (Off-The-Road) tyres, and other heavy vehicle tyres. Designed for tyre distributors, truck fleet workshops, commercial vehicle service centres, and large warehouse operations, it dramatically improves tyre handling efficiency while reducing manual labour and injury risk.
The cage's defining feature is its innovative side gate and ramp access system: two side gates raise independently in sections, and as they lift, a built-in access ramp automatically lowers to ground level — providing smooth, walk-in access for rolling tyres in and out without lifting. This eliminates the need to manually lift heavy truck tyres over a threshold, significantly reducing operator fatigue and workplace injury risk on busy tyre handling operations.
With a capacity of 1 to 6 truck or bus tyres and a 1,000kg Safe Working Load (SWL), this cage handles the full range of commercial vehicle tyre sizes in a single unit. The 2,200mm length provides ample space for large-diameter OTR and truck tyres that cannot fit in standard-size tyre racks or stillages. Forklift pockets (190×90mm, 604mm centres) allow the fully loaded cage to be repositioned by forklift anywhere in the warehouse or yard without unloading.
