The T-SPR1000H Hydraulic Salt Spreader is a large-capacity, self-loading front loader attachment purpose-built for professional winter road maintenance, municipal ice control, and high-volume spreading of rock salt, coarse sand, salt and sand mixtures, fine gravel, and crushed granite. With a 1,000-liter hopper capacity and compatibility with both SMS and three-point hitch mounting systems, this spreader is designed for operators who need to cover significant ground efficiently without frequent stops to refill — making it a practical choice for farm lanes, rural roads, commercial properties, and municipal maintenance routes.
The self-loading design allows the operator to fill the hopper directly from a stockpile using the front loader bucket, eliminating the need for manual shoveling, conveyor systems, or additional handling equipment. Once loaded, all spreading functions are controlled from the cab via the machine's auxiliary hydraulic circuit, with precise hydraulic speed control allowing the operator to adjust spread rate in real time to match ground speed, material type, and required coverage density. The four-setting stone release mechanism provides additional output control, enabling fine-tuned adjustment between different materials that flow and spread at different rates.
The hydraulic anti-bridging agitator is one of the most important reliability features of this spreader. Bridging — where damp, partially frozen, or compacted material clumps together and blocks the discharge outlet — is one of the most common causes of uneven spreading and operational downtime with salt and sand spreaders. The hydraulic agitator runs continuously during operation, actively breaking up material clumps inside the hopper and maintaining consistent, uninterrupted material flow regardless of weather conditions or material moisture content. This makes the T-SPR1000H particularly reliable in the cold, wet conditions where winter spreading equipment is most heavily used.
The hopper is constructed from high-grade 6 mm steel plate, providing the structural rigidity needed to handle the weight and pressure of a full 1,000-liter load of dense material. All rollers and agitator components are fully galvanized for corrosion resistance, an essential feature given the highly corrosive nature of road salt in prolonged contact with metal surfaces. An optional painted or galvanized body finish is available for operators working in high-exposure environments who require additional protection across the full hopper surface.
Power is delivered by a protected 250 cc hydraulic motor driving through a reinforced chain and hardened gear transmission, providing reliable torque and consistent rotor speed under continuous heavy-duty operation. The system operates at 16 MPa working pressure with a hydraulic flow requirement of 60 LPM, compatible with the auxiliary hydraulic circuits on most modern front loader tractors and skid steer machines equipped with SMS or three-point hitch systems. At 384 kg, the spreader carries enough mass to remain stable and well-balanced on the loader during operation, while the 2,000 × 1,000 × 894 mm overall dimensions keep the unit within a practical working envelope for most loader configurations.
