Product Overview

The EALITA Hydraulic Fork-Style Waste Grab is a heavy-duty forklift attachment engineered for the efficient, secure, and damage-free handling of loose scrap iron, scrap metal fragments, waste paper bales, mixed industrial waste, and small-format bulk materials across scrap metal recycling yards, waste processing facilities, paper recycling centers, industrial manufacturing plants, and mixed-waste handling environments. Available in three Class 3A configurations for 3–3.5 tonne forklifts with fork lengths of 1,220 mm, 1,370 mm, and 1,520 mm and maximum opening ranges from 2,074 mm to 2,600 mm, this hydraulic fork grab provides the reach, grip security, and tilt control required to handle a wide range of loose waste material formats that conventional bucket attachments and two-jaw grabs cannot collect and retain effectively.

The fork-style grab design is the defining structural feature that differentiates this attachment from conventional clamshell and orange peel grab configurations. Rather than relying solely on opposing jaw or radial claw closure to contain the load, the fork-style grab combines tine-based penetration with claw closure — driving the fork tines into the material pile to achieve initial penetration and load engagement before the grab closes around the collected material. This fork-penetration-first grab action is particularly effective for handling compacted waste paper bales, dense scrap metal accumulations, and mixed waste piles where surface-only jaw closure cannot achieve sufficient material penetration to collect a full grab load in a single cycle. The compact claw geometry is specifically optimized for retaining smaller-format materials — including iron swarf, small scrap fragments, paper offcuts, and mixed fine waste — that slip through the wider jaw gaps of larger orange peel and clamshell grab configurations.

Three fork length configurations are available to match different operational reach and material pile depth requirements. The 1,220 mm fork length model provides a maximum opening range of 0 to 2,074 mm, suited to standard-depth waste piles and scrap accumulations in enclosed processing facilities and indoor recycling operations. The 1,370 mm fork length model extends the opening range to 0 to 2,600 mm — the largest opening range in the series — providing the additional reach required for handling deeper material piles, taller scrap metal accumulations, and larger waste bale formats in outdoor scrap yards and high-volume waste processing environments. The 1,520 mm fork length model offers a 0 to 2,470 mm opening range with the longest tine penetration depth, optimized for reaching into deep, loose material piles and extracting full grab loads from the base of large scrap and waste accumulations.

The integrated hydraulic tilt function delivers 45 degrees of forward tilt and 25 degrees of backward tilt, controlled from the forklift cab via the auxiliary hydraulic circuit. Forward tilt enables precise angular deposit of collected waste and scrap loads into processing equipment hoppers, transport vehicle bodies, and waste containers at a controlled angle — eliminating the manual repositioning required when depositing loads with fixed-orientation grabs. Backward tilt retains loose scrap fragments, paper offcuts, and mixed fine waste securely within the grab assembly during travel across uneven yard surfaces and site terrain, preventing material loss from the grab between collection and deposit points. This tilt capability is critical in high-cycle scrap and waste handling operations where material loss per cycle directly impacts processing throughput and site cleanliness.

The optional bucket configuration allows the same forklift carriage mounting to support a bucket attachment alongside the fork waste grab, enabling the operator to switch between grab and bucket functions within the same operational shift. This bucket-on option is particularly valuable at mixed-use waste processing sites where both loose material grabbing and bulk material scooping — such as fine waste collection, sawdust removal, and aggregate handling — are required across different stages of the same processing workflow, eliminating the need to change attachments between tasks or deploy a second machine for bucket-based operations.

Constructed from high-strength steel throughout, the grab frame, fork tines, and claw assembly are engineered to withstand the repeated impact, abrasion, and compression loads generated during high-cycle scrap metal and waste handling operations. The hydraulic system operates at a working pressure of 16 MPa with a flow requirement of 60 LPM, compatible with the auxiliary hydraulic circuits of standard Class 3A counterbalance forklifts. Custom fork lengths and opening ranges are available on request to meet specific operational requirements beyond the standard three-model range.

Whether you are collecting and loading scrap iron at a metal recycling yard, handling waste paper bales at a paper recycling center, managing mixed industrial waste at a manufacturing facility, processing loose scrap fragments at a foundry waste area, or clearing mixed fine waste accumulations at an industrial processing site, the EALITA Hydraulic Fork-Style Waste Grab delivers the fork-penetration grip, 45° tilt precision, and 0–2,600 mm opening range your operation needs to handle every loose waste and scrap material load efficiently and securely — every grab, every load, every shift.
