The ripper features four adjustable depth settings, allowing you to dial in the operating depth based on soil conditions and the task at hand. The shank extends 3 inches past the pin hole to fill the receiver tube securely, eliminating play and ensuring a stable, rattle-free connection during operation. Setup is straightforward — simply slide the unit into your existing 2-inch receiver hitch and pin it in place, with no additional adapters or tools required for most ATV and UTV applications.
The reversible carbon steel shank is engineered to cut through tough terrain including hard-packed dirt, dry summer soil, and compacted mud layers. When one edge wears down, simply flip the shank to expose a fresh cutting edge, extending the working life of the attachment and reducing long-term maintenance costs. The aggressive tooth geometry ensures consistent soil penetration even in challenging ground conditions.
A shear bolt is built into the shank as a protective mechanism for both the ripper and your machine. If the tine strikes a buried rock, root, or other immovable obstruction, the shear bolt absorbs the impact and breaks before damage can transfer to your hitch receiver or vehicle frame. Replacement shear bolts are inexpensive and easy to swap in the field, keeping downtime to a minimum.
