The main spear measures φ45 mm in diameter and 1,250 mm (approximately 49 inches) in length, giving the operator the penetration depth required to fully engage and center large round bales during the pickup. The spear is housed in a premium conical casing that protects the base of the main spear from the lateral stress and impact forces generated during repeated bale penetration and lifting cycles.
