Product Overview

The EALITA Hydraulic Multi-Jaw Orange Peel Grab is a heavy-duty forklift attachment engineered for the high-efficiency handling of scrap metal, scrap iron, iron swarf, iron pins, loose logs, and mixed industrial waste across scrap metal recycling yards, steel processing plants, foundries, waste processing facilities, timber yards, and heavy industrial material handling environments. Available in two Class 3A configurations for 3–3.5 tonne forklifts — with circular jaw diameters of φ380 mm and φ440 mm and opening ranges of 380–1,225 mm and 440–1,366 mm respectively — this hydraulic orange peel grab delivers the multi-point gripping force and jaw geometry required to securely collect, lift, and transport loose, irregular, and mixed-composition material loads that conventional two-jaw grabs and bucket attachments cannot handle effectively.

The orange peel multi-jaw claw design is the defining structural and operational feature of this grab attachment. Unlike conventional two-jaw or clamshell grabs that apply opposing linear clamping force across two contact points, the orange peel jaw configuration deploys multiple curved claw segments arranged radially around a central axis — closing simultaneously from all sides to envelop and compress the material load within a 360-degree grip envelope. This radial multi-point clamping action is specifically optimized for loose, irregular, and mixed-composition materials such as scrap metal fragments, iron swarf accumulations, iron pin bundles, and mixed log and waste loads, where the multi-directional grip prevents individual pieces from slipping between jaw contact points during lifting and transport. The result is a more complete, more secure, and more efficient grab cycle compared to any two-jaw alternative when handling loose industrial waste and scrap material formats.

The φ380 mm jaw diameter model (F-DBFLJ3A30-330) provides an opening range of 380 to 1,225 mm, optimized for handling medium-density scrap metal accumulations, iron pin bundles, and mixed waste loads of moderate volume in recycling yard and scrap processing environments where grab cycle frequency and material throughput are the primary operational priorities. The φ440 mm jaw diameter model (F-DBFLJ3A30-800) steps up to an opening range of 440 to 1,366 mm, providing the larger jaw spread required for handling higher-volume scrap metal piles, larger log sections, and bulkier mixed industrial waste loads where maximum material collection per grab cycle is required to maintain processing throughput targets.

The three-circuit hydraulic system provides independent control of jaw opening and closing, rotational positioning, and any additional actuation required for full multi-axis grab operation. The system operates at a working pressure of 16 MPa with a hydraulic flow requirement of 60 LPM, parameters compatible with the auxiliary hydraulic circuits of standard Class 3A counterbalance forklifts equipped with three hydraulic valve circuits. The three-circuit configuration enables the operator to control grab orientation and jaw position simultaneously from the forklift cab — allowing precise grab alignment with irregularly positioned material piles and accurate load placement into processing equipment, transport vehicles, and storage containers without dismounting or manual load adjustment.

The robust welded high-strength steel construction of the jaw assembly and grab frame is engineered to withstand the repeated impact, abrasion, and compression loads generated during high-cycle scrap metal and industrial waste handling operations. The jaw segments are designed to maintain their geometry and grip performance under the deformation forces generated when penetrating and compressing dense scrap metal accumulations and mixed waste piles — ensuring consistent grab performance across thousands of operational cycles in the demanding conditions of active scrap yards, foundry waste areas, and industrial processing facilities.

Whether you are collecting and loading scrap iron at a metal recycling yard, handling iron swarf and pin waste at a steel processing plant, managing mixed industrial waste at a foundry or manufacturing facility, transporting loose logs and timber waste at a wood processing site, or clearing mixed material accumulations at an industrial waste processing center, the EALITA Hydraulic Multi-Jaw Orange Peel Grab delivers the radial multi-point grip, three-circuit hydraulic control, and φ380–φ440 mm jaw capacity your operation needs to handle every loose, irregular, and mixed-composition load efficiently and securely — every grab, every load, every shift.
