The EALITA Hydraulic Tree Shear Attachment is the purpose-built excavator tool for land-clearing contractors, forestry operators, and agricultural developers who need to fell, cut, and clear trees and brush quickly, safely, and efficiently from the cab of their machine. Powered by two high-force hydraulic cylinders working in tandem, the E-TS series delivers the fast, powerful cutting action needed to fell timber up to 25 cm in diameter — covering the vast majority of trees encountered in land-clearing, right-of-way maintenance, orchard removal, and light forestry applications.
The dual-cylinder design is what sets the EALITA tree shear apart from single-cylinder alternatives. With two cylinders driving the cutting jaw simultaneously, the shear generates significantly greater closing force and faster cycle times — allowing operators to cut through hardwood and softwood species up to 25 cm thick in a single, clean motion without stalling or requiring multiple passes. Faster cuts mean more trees cleared per hour, lower fuel consumption per cycle, and reduced operator fatigue across a full working shift.
One of the standout features of the E-TS series is the specially designed replaceable cutting blade, manufactured from high wear-resistant steel to maintain a sharp, effective cutting edge through thousands of cutting cycles. When the blade eventually reaches the end of its service life, it can be replaced quickly and cost-effectively in the field — without the need to return the attachment for workshop servicing or invest in an entirely new shear unit. This replaceability significantly reduces the long-term cost of ownership and keeps the attachment performing at full efficiency throughout its operational life.
Two size configurations are available to match different excavator classes and application scales. The ME-TS180 model, with an opening range of 170 mm to 660 mm, is designed for 2 to 3.5-ton excavators and is ideal for brush clearing, sapling removal, and light timber felling on compact machines. The E-TS250 model, with an opening range of 240 mm to 890 mm, is rated for 4 to 6-ton excavators and delivers the additional reach and cutting force needed for larger-diameter timber and heavier land-clearing workloads. Both models operate at 16 MPa working pressure with a 60 LPM hydraulic flow requirement, and are compatible with S30, S40, S45, S50, and S60 quick-coupler standards.
