The T-SPR Hydraulic Salt Spreader is a self-loading, hydraulically operated front loader attachment engineered for professional-grade spreading of rock salt, coarse sand, salt and sand mixtures, fine gravel, crushed granite, and similar granular materials. Available in four capacities — 350, 800, 1,000, and 1,500 liters — and compatible with multiple hitch systems including SMS, Euro, Z602, and three-point mounting, this spreader is designed to serve a wide range of tractor and skid steer loader configurations across agricultural, municipal, and commercial applications.

The self-loading design sets this hydraulic salt spreader apart from conventional tow-behind or three-point units. The spreader loads directly from a stockpile using the front loader bucket, eliminating the need for manual filling or additional handling equipment. Once loaded, the operator controls spreading speed and output volume from the cab using the machine's auxiliary hydraulic circuit, with precise hydraulic speed control allowing real-time adjustment of spread rate to match ground speed, material type, and coverage requirements.

A four-setting stone release mechanism gives operators additional control over material output, allowing the discharge rate to be adjusted in four increments to suit different materials and spreading widths. This level of control is particularly valuable when switching between fine salt, coarse sand, and mixed materials that flow and spread at different rates, ensuring consistent coverage without over-application or material waste.

One of the most important engineering features of this spreader is the anti-bridging slanted-vane agitator, which continuously breaks up material clumps inside the hopper to prevent bridging — the common problem where material compacts and blocks the discharge outlet, causing uneven spreading or complete flow stoppage. The agitator runs continuously during operation, keeping material flowing freely even with damp or partially frozen salt and sand mixtures that are prone to clumping in cold weather conditions.

The hopper body is constructed from high-grade 6 mm steel plate for structural rigidity under heavy loads, and the rollers and agitators are fully galvanized for corrosion resistance — a critical feature given that salt is highly corrosive to unprotected steel components. An optional painted or galvanized body finish is available for operators who require additional protection in high-exposure environments. The spreading rotor is driven by a protected 250 cc hydraulic motor via a reinforced 5/8-inch chain and hardened gear transmission, providing reliable power transfer and long service life under continuous heavy use. Operating pressure is 16 MPa with a hydraulic flow requirement of 60 LPM, compatible with the auxiliary hydraulic systems on most modern front loader tractors and skid steer machines.
