The floating top hitch is the defining feature that sets the T-FSM1500 apart from fixed-hitch finishing mowers. By allowing the mower deck to pivot independently of the tractor's three-point linkage geometry, the floating hitch enables the cutting deck to follow ground contours continuously without transferring terrain undulations through the tractor linkage. This ground-following capability maintains consistent cutting height across slopes, hollows, and uneven surfaces that would cause a fixed-hitch mower to scalp high points or miss low areas, delivering the uniform finish that professional turf management applications demand.

The four independently height-adjustable castor wheels provide a secondary ground-following mechanism that works in conjunction with the floating hitch to maintain cutting deck stability across variable terrain.
